Dave holds a BA (Hons) in Economics & Management from the University of Leeds and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA).
He trained with Grant Thornton before moving into corporate finance roles at RSM and later Forvis Mazars in Manchester. Here he spent over five years leading corporate finance teams on M&A transactions. This included around two years leading the firm’s northern debt advisory team.
In early 2023, Dave left Mazars to establish CN Corporate Finance with his brother Andy, creating a boutique advisory firm focused on delivering expert M&A advice to business owners.
Dave has advised on a wide range of transactions across multiple sectors, including trade sales, private equity investments, MBOs, MBIs and EOTs, as well as raising debt finance to support growth and acquisitions.
